Helljumpers: ODST

Helljumper is a fan film about Orbital Drop Shock Troopers. Remember, HALO? Yes, the game was a bit underwhelming, but it was still fun and the concept was good. Now a loyal group of fans has started work on the episodic tale of one ODST rookie trooper as he comes out of Boot Camp, or Advanced Infantry Training School or ODST Jump/Drop School or whatever they call it.

According to the official literature, the movie is based on  the short story "Dirt" by Tobias S. Buckell. Here's the description: "Halo Helljumper is a short series of films that follows the life of one human ODST from his enlistment in the UNSC before the Human-Covenant War to around the Fall of Reach. Unlike a lot of soldiers, he was lucky enough to survive through 27 years of a losing battle against a hostile alien civilization, known as the Covenant. Through his experiences, we’re going to expose you to an amazing universe full of devastation, grief, affection, and most importantly, hope."
