Toby vs. The Taliban
If you’re new around here, you might not know about Military.com’s Shock & Awe Video Channel, the Internet’s #1 place to get your military-themed user-generated moving picture content.
What we’ve got here is a homemade video of Toby Keith and his band member Walter “Scotty” Emerick with a live-in-Afghanistan performance of “The Taliban Song,” a tune that was lots of people’s favorite from his 2003 #1 album Shock’n Y’all. Toby’s had a career resurgence lately with his “Red Solo Cup” drinking song and his good humor and aggressively non-partisan patriotism could serve as a model for other celebrities (and quite a few regular Americans).

Under the Radar is commentary. We don’t report the news; we offer our take on what happened.
