Baseball's Tribute for Heroes

At last nights Major League Baseball All-Star Game, the winners from the Tribute for Heroes contest were honored during the pre-game ceremonies. The 29 American (and one Canadian) heroes were each presented with a flag that had flown over their favorite team's stadium. Each veteran was chosen by the fans from their respective cities.

Props to the folks at MLB: we hear about moments like this from time to time but they never seem to show up online after the event. The league posted a ton of video (including detailed game highlights) from the entire event, just like they're doing for pretty much every game all season (NFL, NBA, NHL, NCAA: pay attention). They even included a nice moment where Cincinnati Reds Brandon Phillips has a nice moment when presented with a unit coin from the Army 1st Ranger Battalion:
