"For two epic days, Blizzard fans from around the world descend on Anaheim to play and celebrate their passion for all things Warcraft®..."

That's the tag line from the BlizzCon website. BlizzCon 2013 is this year's annual convention for all of Blizzard Entertainment's nerdy goodness. Don't know who Blizzard Entertainment is? What, have you been living under a rock for the past nineteen years? Lucky for you I'm here to explain. Blizzard Entertainment is one of the gaming giants of the industry. They are responsible such games as the Warcraft series, the StarCraft series, and the Diablo series.

In fact one of the most famous games of all time was created by Blizzard: World of Warcraft, the MMORPG (game) that spawned Leeroy Jenkins!  It's alternately loved, hated or lampooned. As the phrase goes, "everybody has one," and WoW is no exception.  Tales and legends of the marriage ending, life destroying, ever-addicting World of Warcrack have been told since its first release in 2004. In any case, Blizzard typically doesn't disappoint with their games. They have been even known to scrap games completely when they are near completion because they don't fit their "vision" of the game. If you haven't tried one, you should. The Starcraft, Warcraft and Diablo series aren't as popular

Now you know a little bit about good ol' Blizz. The convention starts tomorrow, and I will be covering it. This one, the seventh annual BlizzCon, will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. I wasn't able to actually report from California this time, sadly (have you seen some of the cosplay costumes the girls wear?). I'll be covering it from the warmth of my leather chair though, with my Virtual Ticket. You can purchase for yourself here by the way.

Check in the coming days for some BlizzCon coverage if you don't feel like coughing up $40 for yourself! I'll pass along whatever learn while I'm getting my dork on. I expect to hear about Warlords of Draenor, a new WoW expansion, and some more about Reaper of Souls, which adds to Diablo III gameplay (the latter's trailer recently leaked). I'll keep you up to speed.

Lok'tar Ogar, my life for Aiur and what not.
