How to Train Your Dragon 2 is a surprise. It's both an improvement on the first movie and it's definitely one of the best movies that DreamWorks Animation has ever made. It's out now on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital.

Hiccup (voiced by Jay Baruchel) is five years older in this movie and his dad thinks it's time he grew up. He sets out with his dragon Toothless to investigate tales of a dragon hunter and that leads to an epic showdown with Drago, who has plans for world domination. The whole thing climaxes in a pretty epic battle sequence.
DreamWorks doesn't always get the respect given to Disney/Pixar but they're really pushing the technology forward and Dragon 2 also looks a lot better than its predecessor.
Add this one to the list of recent kids movies that won't drive an adult crazy. The battle sequences make sense and the jokes are pretty funny. There are a load of special features including an all-new cartoon called Dawn of the Dragon Racers.
