Last night I went to dinner with a friend. We had a very talkative twenty-four year old bartender named Donnie. He expressed that he has no age preference when it comes to dating women. His preferable dating age range is a 20 to 40 year old woman. My friend and I were surprised that a man of his age would entertain dating a much older woman, especially in our society were youth is coveted. Our bartender’s comments opened up a very interesting conversation about ageism and dating.

Last night, I met a representative for Pizzas 4 Patriots. Retired Master Sargent Mark Evans, along with his son Kent, had an idea for a “special reward” for our Armed Forces. The idea was for each soldier to enjoy a slice of Chicago deep-dish pizza, giving every man and woman a “slice of home.”
I’m a 25-year-old Christian man who practices abstinence. I face temptation all of the time, but I’ve been able to overcome it so far. I am not a virgin, so I know what sex is all about… which is half the problem.
