See ‘MURPH: The Protector’ in a Real Movie Theater
OK, here’s one for all our readers who say they never go to the movies because Hollywood never puts out anything they want to see. Regal Cinemas has teamed up with the producers of a new documentary called MURPH: The Protector for a limited nationwide release in select theaters on Friday, March 22nd.
MURPH: The Protector tells the life story of U.S. Navy SEAL Lt. Michael Murphy. He joined the Navy after graduating from Penn State, served in Iraq and Afghanistan and was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor in 2007.
Murphy was killed in a firefight with the Taliban in June 2005 and his friends and family about his funeral in the clip above. You can check out the trailer below and find out where to see the movie on March 22nd here.

Under the Radar is commentary. We don’t report the news; we offer our take on what happened.

I’m there. Kind of tired of la la land interpreting what we ought to believe about SEALs.
i can’t help but agree, although at the same time i’m pumped to see a movie honoring a great man.
If this is released on dvd, then I will buy this movie for the same reason I bought Blackhawk Down. Not fun movies to watch, but I will watch to honor them and remember them.
Spent today working on the named for him.
