Major League Baseball has teamed up with People Magazine to create Tribute for Heroes, a chance to honor a military hero by sending him or her to the 2013 MLB All-Star Game. Click here, choose your favorite team and choose one of three nominees. Each team will send its winner to the game in New York on July 16th and one hero will be profiled in People.

You can vote as many times as you want and you can check out and vote for the nominees for as many different teams as you want. Each hero has his or her own bio and a photo.

The nominees were selected by a panel that included General Peter W. Chiarelli (who served as 32nd Vice Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army until his retirement in 2012) and General John M. "Jack" Keane (a four-star general who completed 37 years in public service, culminating as acting Chief of Staff and Vice Chief of Staff of the US Army), Justin Verlander of the Detroit Tigers, Nick Swisher of the Cleveland Indians, Barry Zito of the San Francisco Giants, Jonny Gomes of the Boston Red Sox, Brad Ziegler of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chase Headley of the San Diego Padres and Craig Stammen of the Washington Nationals.

Vote here to send a hero to the MLB All-Star Game.
